2000 Bentley Arnage

2000 Bentley Arnage

…named after one of the LeMans circuit’s trickiest turns (where Bentleys dominated back in the 20’s and built their race heritage). This car had 2 engine options: a turbocharged BMW 4.4L V8 that was tad anemic (and was called a 4.5L as a reminder of past Bentleys); and a modified turbocharged version of the Rolls Royce 6.75 Litre V8 which put out 400 horsepower and a staggering 619 lb-ft of torque, more than any other sedan in the world. That adds up to a top speed electronically limited at 155 mph and acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds – for a car that weighs 6546 lb fully laden.
